
We've been waiting for more then 10 years now, but we finally have a release data for Starcraft 2! Starcraft 1 was released on the 31st March 1998 - Tomb Raider was still very much a high high-tech game back then.
So, it has been quite a while - 12 years later and still feeling the rush. To Quote Husky: "Starcraft 2 is like chess on steroids. " With the APM (Actions Per Minute) in chess being less important. :)

IRVINE, Calif. – May 3, 2010 – Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. announced today that its highly anticipated real-time strategy game, StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty™, will arrive in stores throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau starting on July 27, 2010. The first installment in the three-part sequel will launch worldwide--China excepted--on July 27 for the PC and Mac and will retail for $60 in the US. The game will also be available in a deluxe $100 Collector's Edition that will include a 176-page art book and a flash drive preloaded with the original Starcraft and its Brood War expansion.
